June 9 & 10   Belly Dancer USA Competition at Seven Feathers Hotel & Casino in Canyonville, Oregon.
On June 10th - 10 am to Noon - Janie will be teaching her "Hip Fit" Workshop
This is a two hour workshop, where I teach my method of making Costume Belts.  In fact, I will make & cover a belt right in front of you.  I will also teach you how to embellish the belt for the most flattering effect.  How to accent the good and hide the bad with camouflage.  My goal is for my students to have COMFORTABLE and BEAUTIFUL Belts to dance in.

I will bring lots of examples for the students to look at, both finished and under construction.  I will also bring a short hand out.  
I will bring some of the items I use, which you can buy.  
Students do not need to bring a thing.  
Students may also bring any belts they are working on, that may be giving them problems.

July 13 - 15 with July 12 Bonus Day Wiggles of the West Contest at Boomtown Hotel & Casino in Reno, NV
July 12 10 am - Noon Janie will be teaching her "Beading for Belly Dance" Workshop
This will be a 2 hour hands-on workshop on beading as it applies to Belly Dance costuming.
Attendees do not need to bring a thing, I will provide cloth, beads, tools, and a short Handout.
You do not even need to know how to sew on a button.  After this workshop, you will know how to embellish with beads.
