Changes in Boomtown corporate policies regarding the Poker
Room, where Bill works, cut into our finances. Not to worry we just
kicked up our selling on ebay a notch, by opening an
ebay store.
The store is called "Designs by Janie", of course. Thanks to
my dear friend Pam who owns Shimmy Bliss for giving me such good advice.
I also did a lot of reading. So now Designs by Janie has an ebay
store, as well as, a web site store, and of course the shop. I soon
found out that it is much the same as opening your second 'brick and mortar'
store. Busy, Busy, Busy.
Other changes have been the new Fashion line, for times when you are
not in costume and the Virtual Yard Sale. The Yard Sale is the section
of the web site where you can buy discontinued items, samples, and what have
you. It changes all the time, so please check it out often. The
most surprising thing is I am doing all this, without spending a lot of
money, because I am using what I have in my extensive stash. The stash
has to be thinned out too.
Oh Yeah, here is the big change to Janie's Oasis -- the new Ezine look.
After much discussion with big fans of the Oasis, I agreed it was
time for a change. The original paper newsletter looked much like
the Oasis has look for the last 4 years, just a scroll down of articles.
I could have waited until the fist issue of the fifth year, but I
said, "No time like the present" and plunged in. My geek son said,
"You can do it." So heart in hand, here is the first issue of the new
format.
The next issue starts the FIFTH YEAR of Janie's Oasis as an on line newsletter
and now an Ezine. Volume 5, Issue 1 will be out after Rakkasah.
